MD NutriAcademy at ESPEN Congress 2025 – Vienna, Austria

We were honored to represent Türkiye at the ESPEN Congress 2025 in Vienna — one of the most prestigious international conferences in clinical nutrition and metabolism. Our founder Dr. İ. Melis Durası presented the study 🧠 “Network-Based Investigation of miRNA and Microbiome Interactions in Parkinson’s and Huntington’s Disease: A Systems Biology Approach.” This research explores how gut microbiome dynamics and miRNA regulatory networks intersect in neurodegenerative diseases, providing new insights into molecular mechanisms linking the gut–brain axis. The presentation highlighted the potential of multi-omics integration and network biology to identify novel biomarkers for personalized nutritional strategies in neurological disorders. We thank the ESPEN scientific community for their inspiring discussions and collaboration spirit.
